It’s that time of year again. The voucher scheme starts this week!!
Please get all your family and friends to collect Active Kids vouchers from Sainsburys – we can get lots of free stuff if you bring them in to us over the next few months. With a smaller membership please bring them to us instead of school as the schools have hundreds to collect from – we have much less!!
Explorers starts back on Monday 11th January – uniform and subs please.
Subs has now increased to £39 per term – please make sure you note this!!
Don’t forget we are taking part in the Remembrance Day Parade in Hampton on Sunday 8th November. Smart uniform please. Check emails and facebook for timings.
You are expected to take part!!
Explorers starts again tomorrow night – remember you should be in uniform and should bring subs (£35 payable to Richmond District Explorers). Also, make sure that all badges have been sewn on your uniform – and if you feel you are due another “year” badge or the next staged camping badge please make sure you bring details of the camps you have done – especially at other groups – so I can update your records.
The final details and site activity forms for Gilwell 24 are now in the camps section – please read carefully and make sure you bring them all with you to avoid missing out!!
Check the camps section for final details re the upcoming camps – particularly summer camp as I need permission forms from you all ASAP.
We need everyone of you to take action and get everyone you know to register and vote –try and get at least one person you meet every day this month to use their 10 votes for our project – that way we should be able to reach the finals and have a good chance of winning an award.
Remember there is no cost to vote – just a few mouse clicks, also voting does not, according to the terms and conditions, restrict the voting to adults only – the explorers etc can vote as long as they have an email address.

Remember the voting is on until 30th May – so we need you to keep collecting support.
The scheme comes to an end in early May – don’t forget to bring all the vouchers in ASAP – if they aren’t handed in early they don’t count towards our total.
Just a quick reminder that St George’s Day Parade is on Sunday 17th April and we expect you to attend. We also need two adults to act as Marshals on the day. Full details are in the news section.
