Hampton Explorers

The new term started this week with some new members attedning for their first meeting – numbers are growing and in 2027 we are expecting to increase by about 50% – so it would be great if we could get some more adults to join the leadership team – email us if you are interrested…….

Explorers have just finished 2 weekend camps over the past 3 weeks “Water Weekend” and “Borough Camp”- and a few explorers are gearing up to our own Summer Camp at Tolmers (shared with 3rd Hampton Scouts, 13th Twickenham scouts and Cook explorers).

A few of our explorers are also joining Erik Armstrong explorers and others on a week long camp in Sweden.

Next week is our last meeting of this term and for those that can come along – prepare to get wet!!

First meeting is next Monday 13th April – looking forward to camping season and plenty of outdoor activities…..

16 explorers in 3 teams all successfully completed the 20km course within the allotted time and managed to come 2nd, 3rd and 6th out of the 13 district explorer teams – a brilliant performance.
